Procurement Officer
Job Description
- Ensure ordered materials are in compliance with project requirements.
- Price comparisons, negotiations and close out of material orders.
- Preparation of formal company purchase orders and processing of same.
- Ensure supplier delivery periods and lead times are taken into account when awarding orders.
- Evaluate the suitability of proposed new suppliers – qualification, compliance, and subsequent approval.
- Continuously monitor suppliers' orders for quality service and competitiveness using the established mechanisms.
- Handling projects in accordance with company requirements.
- Report immediate non-conformances to Procurement Manager with respect to product specification, quality, or required delivery schedule.
- Assist the team in providing the request saving.
- Work with the team to achieve and deliver the necessary based on assigned projects.
- Delivered any task assigned by respective management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Operation Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional certificates in SCM is preferable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
