Drilling Superintendent
Job Description
- Accountable to produce all required monthly reports in time (MIS, dashboard, pipe inventory, site visit, Cost, and accruals).
- Responsible to guide the site TPs during any abnormal activities during drilling operations.
- Responsible to update and QC DOP and JSA for his rig activities.
- Responsible to audit rig through monthly self-verification.
- Responsible to ensure well control documentation is in place head office and oversite at site.
- Responsible to Supervises well control measures.
- Responsible for the Management and Performance Monitoring of assigned Rigs.
- Responsible for Process Equipment and Drilling Inspection schedules and compliance.
- Responsible for Subcontractor's compliance with Company's HSE.
- Responsible for assigned Rig Financial Budgets and monitoring of Rig Costs.
- Responsible for Administration/Personnel with Manager on Crew Movements and all other personnel matters.
- Responsible to investigate and report finding on HSE incidents.
- Responsible to liaise with Client in all operational matters of dedicated rigs.
- Accountable to ensure that 24-hour coverage of assigned Rigs is maintained by Deputy if required.
- Responsible to ensure MOC process is followed where required.
- Responsible to ensure that camp and living quarters are inspected and actions closed.
- Responsible to makes decision to evacuate/abandon the rig.
- Responsible to liaise with Trainers & Evaluates crew.
- Accountable to ensure all maintenance reports and schedules are followed through PMS system for Drilling team.
- Responsible to ensure his staff have clear technical knowledge of their units.
- Attending daily/ monthly client meeting
- Attending Abraj management meetings.
- Approving PR as per MoA
- Assisting the Operation Manager in crating TRFs.
- Responsible to ensure all head office rigs filing system up to date.
- Reviewing and approving the Inspection reports.
- Accountable to Provide motivation to supervisors and crews
- Responsible to Maintain relationship with customer's representative
- Responsible to Control budget and inventory through monthly reports.
- Accountable to ensure that the training of personnel is carried out on time in assigned Rigs.
- Accountable to monitor Competence and Performance Standards of all Personnel on assigned Rigs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer or Business Background.
- Preferred to have Round I and Round II of well engineering certificate.
- A minimum of 14 years of experiences in oil and gas industry.
- Must be in possession of current IWCF Certificate at Supervisor Level.
- Stuck Pipe Prevention.
- Drilling HSE Workshop.
- H2S Awareness & Escape.
