Team Lead- ERM & BCM
Job Description
- Leads in communicating ERM's role throughout the organization.
- Prepare / Periodically Review the ERM Architecture (Policy, Procedure, Framework, Appetite and Tolerances etc.)
- Communicate the approved architecture across the organization to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitates integrating Risk management with the strategic management process.
- Communicate and facilitate use of appropriate ERM methodologies, tools & techniques.
- Follow-up an appropriate framework to facilitate collection and analysis of data and information
- Facilitate sharing of risk management best practices across the organization.
- Report risk profile and key mitigation actions to the Audit & Risk Committee, Board and Senior management.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit Department to achieve the desired performance of Risk Management.
- Support regular reporting and assist Board / Audit & Risk Committee in decisions related to Risk Management.
- Monitor the application and effectiveness of risk management processes.
- Develop Risk Registers and facilitate approvals from the Risk Champions / Risk Owners.
- Document the mitigation plans in coordination with Risk Champions / Risk Owners.
- Monitor and report the progress of Mitigation Action Plans.
- Lead and supervise team members in developing team competency and monitoring the progress toward goals.
- Develop the required market analysis and environmental scanning techniques (Internal and External) to conduct the relevant benchmarking studies and best practices across different sectors.
- Support the Business Resilience Committee in providing summarized and detailed metrics on Business Resiliency status, readiness, crisis, and incident reporting.
- Identify and make recommendations for change and adaptation to meet the needs of the business; Support in developing solutions to infrastructure obstacles and business.
- Lead the development and continuous update of fit-for-purpose Abraj BCM Framework in line with regulatory standards such as ISO 22301:2019, BCM requirements from Oman Investment Authority, industry best practices and Abraj business objectives.
- Lead in developing Abraj BCM program which includes developing business continuity planning tools and templates to guide BCM efforts.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining processes and practices which effectively ensure that the enterprise system remains current and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate, and adequately covers general regulatory requirements.
- Lead the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) exercise on all Abraj activities and supporting processes to prepare Recovery Plans and Crisis Management Plan.
- Support senior management in aligning all BC planning, initiatives and goals with Organizational goals and Infrastructure capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- Certified in Risk Management domain as well as preferably Certified in BCM.
- Professional Qualifications / Certification (CIA / CRMA / IRM diploma).
- Certification in ISO 31000 / ISO 22301 is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
