Frac Supervisor
Job Description
- Demonstrate control on min/max stock of spare parts at the location.
- Provides the necessary planning for the job to maintain, rig up/down all frac equipment (blender, pumps, hyd unit, frac tanks, etc) and if required operate the wellhead isolation too.
- Conducts PTW and TBT, safety meetings at site and provide the facilities and resources for safe execution of the job.
- Ensures a safe and healthy environment at the worksite through the effective application of the Company's QHSE systems.
- Communicates with client representative and implement the agreed procedures according to the program.
- Provides supervision and execute the job at site starting from checking the site, mobilization, demobilization, checking all equipment, materials, safety items and all other requirements for operations.
- Ensures that all personnel in the crew shift have the appropriate knowledge and understanding of the tasks to be performed.
- Trains Operators, assists in training junior operators with instructions and guidance from Lead Supervisor.
- Comply with all Client’s and company’s QHSE policies and procedures.
- Supports company strategies for maintaining and improving business.
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for business growth, acting as the company representative at the worksite.
- Performs pre/post job equipment inspections, and all related maintenance.
- Ensures completion of all required documentation relating to equipment and personnel in the course of the operations performed.
- Monitor housekeeping, cleaning and inventory of safety items at site,
- Ensures all equipment checklists are completed before and after every job.
- Ensures the customer is satisfied with the service provided including the accuracy of all data and reports provided.
- Ensures all maintenance jobs for equipment are done as per the maintenance procedures.
- Ensures and verify that all staff is competent and the company services are matching with the clients targets.
Qualifications:
- A diploma in Mechanic Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Well Control Certificate level 4 ( IWCF ).
- Solid Knowledge of Acid stimulation or prop Frac services.
