Petroleum Engineer ( On Job Training )
Job Description
- Establishes and/or maintains Abraj filing and record-keeping systems (COC and COS). Maintains reference soft and hard copies.
- Establishes and maintains organized, accessible and filling system in accordance with applicable standards, policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of information and materials according to established policies and procedures.
- Owner of the filling structure of the department, and overlook the files, documents and folders.
- In line with the quality and internal audit requirements in terms of the department documents and file.
- Conducts complex and/or comprehensive research on cost optimizations and performance enhancement.
- Collects and/or compiles necessary data/information from a variety of sources (e.g., reports, files, databases, individuals) in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
- Uses data/information gathered to appropriately respond to inquiries, questions or requests.
- Properly prepares and distributes or forwards required or requested data/information, reports and other documents to appropriate persons within established period.
- Execute and track any Payments and finance department perspectives:
- Execute all billing sheets and sales orders according to Abraj process
- Share all accruals, approved and signed billing sheets, diesel reports and any other reports required for finance.
- Reporting, tracking and analysis:
- Collect, generate MIS Report monthly. Adhere to the submission date.
- Ensure all Rigs EOM reports are available in Abraj share folder. Report missing to the line manager through excel sheet.
- Receive drilling Inspection report (i.e. tubular, handling tools, etc) from Abraj vendors and handed over to assigned line manager. File soft copy in shared drive.
- Collect DS monthly site visits reports and record the findings in Intelex.
- Generate of Rental report. Make sure with line manager that all rentals are captured and with valid PO.
- Update NPT Monthly. Assure the NPT sheet are QC'd and matching the billing sheet.
- Own MOM of weekly Operations meeting. Follow up and track the actions through Tracker sheet.
- Update well records sheet.
- Update and post Drilling and Workover Dashboard.
- Technical projects:
- Utilize the engineering skills to track, sustain and give solutions in any adhoc projects that the department undergoes, such as CI projects, CAT IV projects, system upgrade and new technology projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- GPA above 3.0.
