In a strategic move to bolster its logistical efficiency and uphold the highest standards of trade security, ABRAJ Energy Services SAOG (“ABRAJ"), Oman's leading oilfield services provider, has officially been granted the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status by the Directorate General of Customs, Royal Oman Police.
The recognition ceremony was held under the auspices of Major General Sulaiman bin Ali Al-Hussaini, Chairman of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, during the Royal Oman Police's celebration of International Customs Day. The event took place at the Directorate General of Customs headquarters on Monday, January 26, 2026.
This milestone further complements ABRAJ's recent achievements in supporting the national economy, most notably being the first company in Oman to be issued the Local Content Certificate. This certification serves as another major milestone toward operational excellence and fostering the national agenda. It reflects ABRAJ's steadfast commitment to enhancing In-Country Value (ICV), supporting domestic supply chains, and empowering Omani talent, solidifying its position as a leader in integrating business success with national responsibility.
The AEO program is a global hallmark of trade facilitation, awarded to companies that demonstrate rigorous compliance with customs regulations and international security standards. For ABRAJ, this certification provides significant competitive advantages, including expedited customs clearance, prioritized inspections, and reduced supply chain costs, ensuring that vital drilling and well-maintenance equipment reach operational sites with maximum speed and reliability.
