Abraj operates a fleet of 25 state-of-the art light to heavy rigs, delivering various well types and operating at different well envelopes including high pressure and high temperature wells. Additionally, the fleet consists of 5 workover units that minimise deferment durations and enhance production milestones. Our units adhere to HSE benchmarks, top service quality standards and operate at zero stacking status across the Sultanate.
Implementing advance technologies in our rig fleet has resulted in a continuous reduction of flat times and minimised HSE exposure. Following best industrial operational practices, our systems, equipment and engineering practices have continuously operated efficiently. Our proactive maintenance schedules use the best predictive failure models available in the market, which have led to significant improvements in total breakdown hours.
The company employs real-time CCTV, known as Abraj Eyes Centre, with direct communication to its drillers. This was a pivotal change in managing operational challenges, whereby various design changes were implemented using the continuous feedback from the centre.
Our people stand at the forefront of business excellence with their experience, commitment, and resilience, proving promising agents of Abraj’s strength since the beginning. The Kafa’a program is designed to support our team in enhancing their skills and bridging the capability gap to yield first-class manpower. To demonstrate diversity, we have 25 nationalities working collectively, whilst providing multicultural experience at our rig sites.
