Rajan is a Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), Fellow Member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (FICMA) and Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS). With over 33 years of experience, 23 in senior management positions, Rajan joined AES in 2009 as General Manager – Finance. His experience ranges across international conglomerates such as Smithkline Beecham Consumer Brands Ltd., Maruti Suzuki Joint Venture, and Well Diversified Oilfield Services Company amongst others.
His expertise scope includes Corporate Finance, Investments, Treasury & Banking, Budgeting & Costing, Taxations, Procurement & Contracting, Statutory & Concurrent Audit, Legal, Arbitration, ERP Implementations (such as SAP) and IT, functions of large Multinational Companies in India and in Oman. He has a number of management and professional development certifications from Europe, the Middle East and India.
