Company founding and evolution
Established in 2006 to accelerate Oman’s national capability in drilling and well operations, ABRAJ has grown from a focused local contractor into a full-spectrum energy-services partner supporting operators across the entire well lifecycle – from drilling and completions to workover, intervention and production support.
Over nearly two decades, ABRAJ has expanded its capabilities, developed one of the youngest and most advanced rig fleets in the GCC, and built long-term partnerships with leading national and international operators such as PDO, Oxy, OQEP, Wafra Joint Operations and BP Oman.
Driven by a 93% Omani workforce, a modern rig fleet and a culture of safety and innovation, ABRAJ has become one of the region’s most trusted providers of integrated well services. The company was also the first in the MENA region to introduce integrated fracturing services, pioneering unconventional deep tight gas development in Oman.
