Plan and conduct HSE training programs designed to enhance the HSE knowledge and capabilities of the Company’s personnel, which in turn will increase awareness hazards and risks and help reduce incidents and injuries.
Provide professional HSE skill-based training and competence evaluations.
Assist in the day-to-day management of the training center.

QHSE Responsibilities
You are responsible to take care of your own health and safety as well as the health and safety of your colleagues while working in Abraj. Following are your general HSE responsibilities:
Comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations.
Follow Abraj and client procedures and observe precautions as detailed in other health and safety and operating procedures.
Observe environmental, health and safety related signs, posters, warning signals and written directions.
Be familiar with the emergency plan, the emergency assembly area and emergency coordinators for the building, and participate in emergency drills.
Use personal protective equipment and engineering controls appropriate to the work.
Stop any work if continuation of the work poses an imminent danger to health, safety or environment, and immediately line manager.
Report all unsafe acts / conditions to your line manager or HSE Department as soon as is reasonably possible.
Warn co-workers about health, safety and environmental hazards.
Participate in health, safety & environmental training applicable to your position
Participate in required inspection and monitoring programs.
Follow company road safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities,
Accountabilities & Relationships
Conduct HSE courses including HSE induction, H2S, IFR, CHA, DROPS, NORM, SCBA, AGT, Manual Handling, Environment Awareness, Rigging and Slinging, Working at Height for refreshers and new employees.
Conduct HSE courses in the field as per requirement.
Maintain quality and consistency of accredited courses so that accreditation is retained.
Participate in developing training material to meet training needs.
Issuing HSE passports and H2S card for the new hires upon completion of the Training and assessment process.
Ensure course materials are regularly reviewed and provide updates to Training Manger for review.
Make sure all IADC/OPAL/PDO certificates are recorded and uploaded in the online database.
Make sure all HSE passports are recorded and updated in the CRM.
Ensure familiarization with current HSE practices, relevant regulation, and industry-related standards.
Ensure all required documents including the HSE passport are processed as per Center Procedures at the end of session.
Promote HSE culture within the organization through proper conduct; lead by example.
Coordinate with training and rig administrator to organize the courses.
Conduct HSE training programs and competence assessments as per training calendar.
Assist Institute management in any implementation or other job-related requirements.
Look after all day to day running and activities of the training center.
Provide regular reports to Training Manager.
