Job Description
Asset Management Related Responsibilities
- Responsible for follow up with Asset identification & tagging process for all asset unidentified so far and implement robust asset tagging process for new assets.
- Supervises the preparation and implementation of yearly operating asset procurement plan.
- Responsible for Specification review, drawing approval, creating TRFs, Technical Inspection for any new asset procurement in consultation with Asset Manager.
- Assist if required the project team for any new asset procurement to achieve efficient, cost-effective, timely, and high quality delivery of the assignments.
- Responsible to preform asset capitalization as per abraj standard process.
- Support Drilling Superintendent or end user for asset write off process and periodic asset count.
- Develops and manages good and effective relationships with the clients and other stakeholders.
Well Control Management Related Responsibilities
- Ensure well control filing system is up to date.
- Ensure well control master sheet is up to date.
- Effectively manage PDO e-WCAT system.
- Plan & monitor intermediate and major inspection for well control equipment.
- Review scope of work for 3rd Party Inspections/recertification and ensure proper procedures during inspection/recertification. Also to QC/QA inspection in 3rd party facilities.
- Audit all unit Drilling Operating Procedures and standardize Pressure testing & Well control related procedure in accordance with Abraj Policy & Client operating standards.
- Create a dashboard monitoring system to ensure all well control drills, BOP function testing and Pressure testing is carried out in accordance with Abraj & Client policies.
- Review specs and ensure client and industry standards are met while purchasing/renting of Well Control Equipment.
- Conduct well control audit at site to ensure compliance with standards requirement.
- Liaise with all stake holders to ensure closeout of all Well control audit reports findings.
- Ensure OEM/client/API/ISO standards related to well control equipment & operations are available as ready reference.
- Stay up to date with changing regulations and legislation regarding well control equipment and their maintenance criteria. Inform all unit of any changes which are imminent or already in place to ensure company compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 years of experience in the oil and gas field or relevant industry.
- 5 years of experiences in Asset Management, Verification and Well Control Integrity field.
- Well Control Certification (IWCF) Level 4 and full understanding of well control scenarios is required.
