ABRAJ Energy Services, a leading provider of oil and gas services, recently unveiled an impressive achievement in the field of cementing technology. The company successfully implemented innovative technological solutions for our client, ARA Petroleum, resulting in a significant reduction in time spent and a significant decrease in loss rates.

Innovative Cementing Solutions

This accomplishment saved ARA Petroleum considerable days of rig time and minimized the loss rate to minimal levels. The cement with fibers through drilling BHA was designed to cure losses, lower chance of dehydration even with fiber going through BHA tools when the slurry is subjected to differential pressure. This design solution demonstrated outstanding efficiency in mitigating loss issues, owing to its superior sealing properties and resistance to fluid migration and delivering optimal performance and efficiency and saving several days rig time.

Also robust cement design tailored to the project was deployed to cement the deepest cementing liner performed by Abraj, introducing superior wellbore stability throughout drilling operations verified by cement bond log; the result was outstanding even in slim design liner.  Where the clearance was only 1.7 cm

Benefits for Clients

With this advanced cementing system, Clients can reduce their operational time significantly due to improved accuracy and faster curing times of losses compare to conventional systems. Additionally, it requires fewer resources than other technologies on the market today, which helps optimize OPEX in the long run," said Saif Al Hamhami, CEO of Abraj Energy Services.

This success results from the collaboration between Abraj and ARA Petroleum to innovate strategies tackling different challenges, including but not limited to total losses scenario.

HPHT Cementing and Well Integrity

Abraj utilized their premium HPHT cementing solution to ensure stability during drilling operations and reduce risks associated with pressure surges that can occur when using traditional methods to cement HPHT liners.  Additionally, strengthening the wellbore prior casing cementing and maintain strong integrity during the life of the well.

Recognition from ARA Petroleum

ARA Petroleum acknowledged the success of the newly developed cementing technology, highlighting Abraj Energy Services' operational excellence in powering critical operations for ARA Petroleum.

"Receiving such positive feedback is invaluable to us. We constantly strive to provide our customers with cutting-edge solutions that meet their needs while maintaining the highest safety standards. Our newly developed cementing technology precisely accomplishes that, offering an efficient way to complete projects quickly without compromising quality or performance," Saif Al Hamhami added.

Commitment to Innovation

ABRAJ Energy Services remains committed to driving innovation in the oil and gas industry, continuously pushing boundaries to deliver exceptional client results. The company's success with cementing technology further solidifies its position as a leader in the market. It showcases its dedication to providing efficient and reliable solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
