ABRAJ Energy Services, Oman's leading drilling and oilfield services provider, announced a year of transformative impact regarding its In-Country Value (ICV) contributions and national workforce development for the 2025 fiscal year. By prioritizing local economic integration, ABRAJ continues to solidify its role as a cornerstone of the Sultanate's energy sector and a key driver of the objectives set forth in Oman Vision 2040.

Reflecting a consistent upward trajectory in local participation, the Company achieved a certified ICV index of 28.2% in 2025, a strategic advancement from the 27.9% recorded in the previous year. This growth is anchored by a robust local procurement strategy, with spending on Omani goods and services reaching approximately USD 125 million. This capital injection has been instrumental in cultivating a resilient local supply chain and empowering Omani enterprises to compete at a global standard.

Beyond financial investment, ABRAJ has deepened its engagement with the local business ecosystem through a rigorous supplier development program. In 2025, the Company conducted over 40 structured vendor visits and site engagements designed to optimize performance and foster long-term technical partnerships with Omani suppliers. These initiatives ensure that the value generated within the energy sector remains within the national economy, supporting the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

A primary pillar of this strategy is the development of a world-class national workforce. ABRAJ successfully maintained a distinguished Omanization rate of 93% throughout 2025, reflecting a deep-seated investment in specialized training and career progression for Omani professionals. These leadership efforts were externally validated during the year, with ABRAJ becoming the first company in the Sultanate to receive the Local Content Certification (ICV) and being honored with the prestigious Majd Award for Best Local Content Program.

As ABRAJ looks toward the future, it remains dedicated to pioneering new benchmarks for local content, ensuring that every project contributes meaningfully to the technical sophistication and economic prosperity of the nation.

"Our commitment to In-Country Value is a strategic imperative that transcends mere compliance. By investing in local capabilities, strengthening our partnerships with Omani suppliers, and creating high-tier opportunities for national talent, ABRAJ is building a sustainable foundation for long-term value creation that supports Oman’s broader economic diversification goals."
