In a ground-breaking initiative, the Infitech Training Institute, a subsidiary of Abraj Energy Services, Oman's leading provider of oil and gas services, marked a momentous occasion with the graduation of a cohort of aspiring professionals from its one-year vocational program in electricity and mechanics within the oil and gas sector. This innovative program, which includes hands-on employment opportunities, was generously funded by the Ministry of Labour and successfully equipped 42 recent graduates, holding bachelor's and diploma degrees, with the qualifications necessary to excel in Oman's thriving oil and gas industry.
The graduation ceremony was hosted at the Avani Muscat Hotel on Sunday, December 24, 2023, under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Salim Musallam al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development. Several executive members of strategic partners and stakeholders attended the event.

Notably, this vocational training program, meticulously implemented by the institute, is the first in Oman. Trainees dedicated a total of 1,512 training hours to develop their skills. The program introduced numerous techniques and strategies to enhance trainees' performance, making them well-prepared to join the workforce. Their abilities perfectly align with their respective specializations and work environments, resulting in heightened productivity within their future roles.
It is worth mentioning that the trainees underwent theoretical training at the Infitech Training Institute. Additionally, they completed practical training assignments, translating their theoretical knowledge into practical skills, at three strategic partners: Abraj Energy Services, Shaleem Oil Company, and Al Shawamikh Oil Services.
